STRUCTURED • DRY • COMPLEX

Planted in Columbia Valley’s Rattlesnake Hills AVA in the small town of Zillah, just south of Yakima. Known for the AVA’s higher elevation, the contrast of high heat during the day, and cool nighttime temps, contribute to the balance of optimal ripeness and fresh acidity. After four-decades in wine, owner, Tom Campbell planted the seven-acre site in 2005 and describes it as a “little slice of grape heaven.” Planting an array of grape varietals, such as Nebbiolo, Carménère and Aglianico.

Since we started making wine in 2016, this might be the best fruit we’ve ever worked with- simply spectacular in every way. Nebbiolo is one of the more deceptive grapes out there- it’s light hue and transparency lulls you into thinking this will be a delicate wine, but this wine drinks with great, defining structure- high acidity and high tannin. Both bright and rich, with crumbly texture as well as considerably dry. The fermentation aromatics filled the winery with tart cherry, cranberry and rose petals. The wine has a lasting finish of iron, leather and anise. Enjoy with mushroom risotto, slow roasted pork or beef. This is one of our most cellar worthy wines. Recommended drinking window 10-15 years.

BALANCED • COMPLEX • LASTING FINISH

Farmed, vinified & bottled by our family to yours. Our estate vineyard is 4.3 planted acres of Pinot Noir. Small, yes, but this allows our family to farm it exclusively- keeping diligent contact with every vine from bud break to harvest.

When it comes to our own vineyard, our goal is to produce the best possible wines we can, while capturing the site's own diversity & distinctiveness. Each year we will produce as many blends to meet these two fundamental requirements. And just as each vintage is different from year to year, each blend we create will be too, and therefore assigned its own individual number- forever cataloging the count of hopefully a long line of uniquely delicious Pinot Noirs for years to come.

101 cases produced. BLEND 10 is the entirety of our site in one bottle. It includes every clone, rootstock and soil to provide the big picture story of King’s North Vineyard. The higher elevation blocks (1-4) lend bright red fruit flavors, while the lower blocks (5-7) tend to favor dark fruit and earthy notes, the combination gives way to tumbling complexity and a lasting finish. Lower blocks embrace power, structure and richness, while our upper blocks lift with lively acidity. Balance is the ultimate goal of BLEND 10, with each block playing its part.

      SINGLE BARREL RESERVE

24 cases produced. BLEND 11 RESERVE is a single barrel select bottling from our cellar. Block 7, the southeastern pocket of our Pinot Noir vineyard, comprised of Dijon 114 on Carlton soil, has been producing our favorite wines from our site to date. Enough so, that while tasting through the life of this wine in cellar, this single barrel was so complete by itself, we chose to bottle it separately, as it was the star of the cellar. This is the first whole cluster ferment from our site, which elevated elegance, increased structure and enhanced spice. Enjoy now or cellar for years to come.

Farmed, vinified & bottled by our family to yours. Our estate vineyard is 4.3 planted acres of Pinot Noir. Small, yes, but this allows our family to farm it exclusively- keeping diligent contact with every vine from bud break to harvest.

47 cases produced. BLEND 8 pulls from blocks 1 & 7, although uniquely distinct plantings, there are some commonalities that thread together to make for a seamless Pinot Noir. Both blocks favor red fruit dominance, crafting a wine that leads with red currant and raspberry aromatics and flavors. Similarly, both blocks retain natural acidity very well, lending liveliness on the palate that carries flavors to a long-lasting finish. Block 7 was whole cluster fermented, adding texture, body and subtle spice. Cellared for 12 months in once-filled French oak, offering support while still keeping the fruit on the forefront.

100 cases produced. The majority of BLEND 9 focuses on the lower elevation blocks containing our Carlton soil which favors dark fruit and earthy flavors, while lending more power, body, weight & richness. The clonal selections offer their distinctive aromatics and flavors in each block: Wadenswil lends violet floral aromatics, Pommard gives dark cherry and fleshy texture, Dijon 114 offers savory boysenberry and earthy character. We included a single barrel from block 4 which contains our volcanic soil on site, Dixonville. This single barrel was very concentrated and offers a prominent black licorice flavor. The fruit was 100% destemmed, then cellared for 12 months in 37.5% new French oak. Overall BLEND 9 showcases the bolder side of our estate vineyard while offering delicious dark fruit flavors.

Planted along the banks for the Columbia River, at the southern tip of Horse Heaven Hills AVA, Alder Ridge Vineyard’s site selection is second to none. Benefiting from the warmer continental climate of Columbia Valley’s growing season, but with cooling effects from the proximity of the river, high winds from the gorge, and large drops in nighttime temperatures- creates a beautiful balance of enough heat to optimally ripen, but cool enough to retain the fruit’s vibrancy.

This wine was made to capture the old-school, traditional Italian style of Sangiovese. It was produced using two yeast strains selected by the Consorzio del Vino Brunello de Montalcino in Tuscany. Each yeast driving classic Sangiovese notes of bright red fruit and a complex array of leather, tobacco and iron. Bone dry, this wine drinks silky smooth with medium body and tannin, but brings fresh acidity to liven the palate, making the red fruit burst. Enjoying this wine is a must with classic Italian dishes- spaghetti, lasagna, veal and roasted portabella mushrooms. Recommended drinking window 5-8 years.

The 2023 Vino Rosso is our small batch Italian red blend. Cellared in a single neutral barrel and aged for 18 months. The blend leads with Nebbiolo, giving a base of defined structure, high acidity and pronounced crumbly tannin, offering cranberry and rose aromatics. 20% Barbera was added to soften the texture, while adding considerable weight. Barbera enhances the red fruit dominance of the blend while adding an herbal component. 5% Sangiovese add just enough rustic quality to the wine, resulting in earthy and savory bouquet and flavors. This blend pairs best with your favorite white sauce pastas, pizza and grilled meats.

Tanjuli Vineyard stands in Columbia Valley’s Rattlesnake Hills AVA in the small town of Zillah, just south of Yakima. Known for the AVA’s higher elevation, the contrast of high heat during the day, and cool nighttime temps, contribute to the balance of optimal ripeness and fresh acidity. After four-decades in wine, owner, Tom Campbell planted the seven-acre site in 2005 and describes it as a “little slice of grape heaven.” Alder Ridge has been a long-standing source for us in Columbia Valley’s Horse Heaven Hills. Located on the northern banks of the Columbia River, high winds from the Gorge produce thick skins creating high concentration of flavor.

                SOFT • POMEGRANATE • ALLSPICE

Gamay Noir has long been one of our everyday drinking wines, so when the opportunity came to source this varietal, we jumped on it. Gamay can be seen as a close cousin to Pinot Noir. A lighter bodied variety with silky, soft structure. However, the complexity of flavors focus heavily on spice & herbaceous qualities. Black pepper, allspice, violet and lilac are wrapped around black currant and pomegranate. This wine has bountiful acidity, causing these flavors to pop. To add structure, wholecluster fermentation was used for both fermenters, utilizing the entire cluster: stems, seeds and berries. This lifted aromatics, added even more spice and added to more pronounced tannin. Cellared in barrel for almost a full year, we used a once-filled puncheon barrel (500 L) to add just enough oak flavor to support the grapes already stellar flavors.

Planted in Willamette Valley’s new Van Duzer Corridor AVA, Pamar Vineyard benefits from its proximity to the Coast Range’s elevation break, allowing high winds from the Pacific to stream into the valley. Clusters will grow a thicker grape skin in resistance to these high wines, providing more concentration of color, body and flavor in the resulting wines. These winds will also bring in cooler air, creating more hangtime of the vine for the grapes to develop flavor while retaining their natural acidity. As predicted because of these geographic factors, Pamar’s Gamay Noir was our last pick of the season harvesting on October 14th. Overall, the 2024 growing season brought ideal conditions and will be reserved as the new gold standard. Favorable temps to promote healthy cluster formations and ripening, while temps dipped near harvest to create perfect picking conditions.

38 cases produced. 60% Gamay Noir, 40% Pinot Noir. Both of these grape varieties find their origins from Burgundy, France, where the grapes are commonly blended together as “Bourgogne Passetoutgrain”. A suitable blend considering their origins and structural likeness, both lighter bodied reds with soft tannins. Gamay Noir brings bright acidity and a heavy spice component, while Pinot Noir adds fruitiness, earthiness and structure. The grape varietals were fermented (wholecluster) & barrel aged separately, then blended together by taste after 11 months in the cellar. The Pinot Noir was barreled entirely in new French oak, from a cooper that extracts a lot of vanilla character. Expect dark cherry, licorice, black pepper & vanilla.

This wine draws from two unique vineyards in Willamette Valley. Gamay Noir from Pamar Vineyard located in the newly establish Van Duzer Corridor AVA, and Pinot Noir from our estate vineyard located in Chehalem Mountains AVA. Overall, the 2024 growing season brought ideal conditions and will be reserved as the new gold standard. Favorable temps to promote healthy cluster formations and ripening early in the season, ample heat to complete ripeness in late summer, while nighttime temps dipped near harvest to create perfect picking conditions for both sites.

83 cases produced. BLEND 12 is a small four-barrel blend. The selection was aggressively focused on mouthfeel and structure. These four barrels were from a small segment that underwent bâtonnage (barrel stirring lees) in the cellar which optimizes a fuller, richer and rounder texture. The lees stirring also results in more savory notes that complement the red fruit flavors derived from clones Dijon 114 & 667, while Pommard provides dark fruit undertones and subtle earthiness. BLEND 12 was partially wholecluster fermented to add even more structure, while building another layer of spice. BLEND 12 is easily one of the most uniquely complex Pinot Noirs from this vintage as well as one of the roundest with regards to mouthfeel. Expect notes of raspberry, black tea & dried tobacco leaf.

Pulling fruit solely from the darker fruit driven blocks of our vineyard, BLEND 13 focuses on purity of fresh blackberry, dark cherry & black licorice that overwhelm the glass. We’ve found success utilizing a specific yeast strain during ferment on these blocks to enhance these darker fruit flavors. Moreover, we selected exclusively wholecluster ferments for this wine, adding structure and considerable spice that carries throughout each sip into a lengthy finish. To finalize this wine, we cellared the wine with 25% new French oak from one of our favorite French coopers with a new toasting technique that adds complementary toasted oak flavors.

                        Regular price $48.00

                        ROBUST • BLACKBERRY • OAK

95 cases produced. BLEND 14 is a four-barrel blend drawing exclusively from blocks containing our Carlton sedimentary soil. These blocks are nestled on the westward side of our vineyard, among our lowest elevation, and net the warmest temps throughout the growing season. All of these factors point to building a bolder style of Pinot Noir with considerable weight and body. Selecting the correct vessel to align with this wine’s robust structure after fermentation, we chose our highest impact barrel which imparts a fuller mouthfeel, more pronounced tannin and lovely oak toast to match the wine’s darker fruit tones and earthiness. Just by examining the depth of color in the glass, BLEND 14 will satisfy those that seek a fuller bodied style of Pinot Noir.

                        • 38% Wadenswil (Carlton soil)
                        • 32% Dijon 115 (Carlton soil)
                        • 25% Pommard (Carlton soil)
                        • 5% Dijon 114 (Carlton)

73 cases produced. Our new 2024 Pinot Noir Rosé is here in time to welcome the warm spring weather. A beautiful deep pink hue houses an array of zesty orange peel, rich watermelon and white peach flavors. Built from our very own Pinot Noir vines, this rosé was orchestrated with a farm-first mentality. Designating specific areas of our vineyard that would be farmed distinctly for rosé, rather than for red wine. And because our vineyard is family farmed, we were able to do something quite special in regards to the rosé process- during harvest, we picked individual lots on consecutive days to create several different grape skin contact schedules before sending the wines to press, allowing for us to pin point the exact body, structure and color we wished to achieve. The result is a dry rosé with considerable weight and intense flavor & aromatics.

                          • Pommard, Wadenswil, Dijon 115: 48 hours skin contact
                          • Dijon 114, Dijon 667: 24 hours skin contact

                            VIBRANT • AROMATIC • TROPICAL

Planted along the banks for the Columbia River, at the southern tip of Horse Heaven Hills AVA, Alder Ridge Vineyard’s site selection is second to none. Benefiting from the warmer continental climate of Columbia Valley’s growing season, but with cooling effects from the proximity of the river, high winds from the gorge, and large drops in nighttime temperatures- a beautiful balance of enough heat to optimally ripen but cool enough to retain the fruit’s vibrancy.

Four unique ferments in three different vessels were used to add a layered complexity, while also utilizing two distinct French yeast strains derived from Loire Valley & Champagne. The stainless steel ferment was very reminiscent of a New Zealand style Sauvignon Blanc- bright acid backbone with a focus on grapefruit & gooseberry, as well as a lovely minty note on the bouquet. The new French oak barrel ferment added richness, texture & toasted notes, while the neutral oak barrel ferments added roundness and tropical fruit flavors.
